What are niacinamides? Niacinamides are a form of niacin (vitamin B3) with an amide group attached. This form does not create a 'niacin flush'. This is a temporary but harmless red discoloration of the skin, which usually occurs in conjunction with a slight itching. Vitamin B3 promotes energy metabolism, contributes to mental resilience, brain and nerve function, is involved in the ability to learn and helps to nourish the skin from the inside out.
